Before coming to power, Ken Arok seized power in Tumapel from Tungul Ametung. Ken Arok dynasty’s descendants turned kings of Singhasari and Majapahit from the thirteenth till the fifteenth century. This can be confirmed by the invention of stays from fossils of Pithecanthropus mojokertensis in Kepuhlagen, Mojokerto; Pithecanthropus erectus on Trinil, Ngawi; and Homo wajakensis in Wajak, Tulungagung.
